Hi, I'm Kashaf. I Make Websites That Sound Like the People Who Own Them.

Dear reader,

I didn't set out to build websites. I studied English literature and creative writing at City, in London, which is to say I spent years learning to pay very close attention to how people say things. It turned out to be the most useful training I could have had for this job.

Because here's what I noticed once I started working on websites: most of them don't fail because of the code. They fail because the words are wrong. Nobody listened closely enough to how the owner actually talks about their work, so the site sounds like every other site, and Google has nothing distinctive to rank. Fixing that is most of what I do.

I moved through digital marketing and into design, and then into SEO, which turned out to be the same skill from a different angle. Along the way I worked behind the scenes on hundreds of websites, including SEO Space, the first SEO plugin made for Squarespace, alongside some very good people. I've worked with clients in the UK, across the US, in Canada, Europe and Asia, mostly from behind a laptop, mostly quietly.

In 2026 I moved to Dubai, for the sunshine and my family. I'd been building websites for businesses all over the world. Now I get to build them for the businesses around me, which is a nicer way to work.

Outside work I read a lot, I like mountains, I watch far too many K-dramas and C-dramas, I pick up a bit of every language I'm near, and I write people letters by hand. Which probably tells you most of what you need to know.
