Terms of Service
These are the terms that apply when you work with me, Kashaf Abid, on a website or SEO project. Plain English, on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask.
The two ways of working
Looked After is a monthly plan: I build your website with no separate build fee, then host it, keep it updated and make changes on request, for a fixed monthly price (AED 899/month). Built and Handed Over is a one-off build (from AED 5,500): I design and build the site, hand it over with a walkthrough, and you own and run it from there, with an optional monthly care plan (from AED 550/month) if you'd like me to keep looking after it.
Minimum term and billing
Looked After has a 12-month minimum term, billed monthly in advance in AED, with 5% VAT added. After the minimum term, it continues month to month until either of us ends it. Built and Handed Over is billed 50% to start the work and 50% at launch, also in AED plus VAT.
The "live in under a week" promise
Most websites up to five pages go live in under a week once I have everything I need from you — your content, photos and any approvals. That timeline depends on how quickly you get me what's needed; delays on your side push the date back by the same amount.
Changes on request
On the Looked After plan, "changes on request" covers text and image updates, new sections, price changes, new team members, fixing anything that breaks, and the occasional new page. It doesn't cover a full redesign, adding a shop, adding a second language, or anything that amounts to a new project — if a request falls into that category, I'll tell you and quote it separately before doing any work.
Ownership
On both plans, the design, content and domain are yours. On Looked After, this remains true throughout and after the relationship ends; I don't hold your site or domain hostage.
Your content
You're responsible for the words, images and other material you give me to use on your site, and for confirming you have the right to use them. I'll flag anything that looks like it might be a problem, but the responsibility for supplied content sits with you.
Cancellation and handover
After the 12-month minimum, Looked After can be cancelled with a month's written notice (email or WhatsApp is fine). On cancellation, I'll hand over your website files and help you move hosting elsewhere if needed.
Showing the work
Unless you ask me not to, I may show the website I build for you in my own portfolio and case studies, including screenshots and a general description of the results.
No guaranteed rankings
I do real SEO work and I'm honest about timelines, but nobody, including me, controls Google. I don't guarantee specific rankings, traffic or results, for either plan.
